Dependance on anything - any substance (alcohol, nicotine, mary jane), person or thing is not a good thing...it causes a sense of incompleteness in its absence and sometimes subconsciously one tends to get moody and a little on edge due to lack of that which we crave
having said that i carry 2 cellphones, consume alcohol 3-4 times a week and get cranky without my morning coffee....
they say one cannot just get rid of a negative habit but replace it with a positive one....would that just mean one becomes dependant on whatever one thinks is a positive influence in one's life?
For example a morning jog/ work out/ sport...or a solid work day? sex? how about religion/ prayer/ spirituality? These things are usually considered positive right....if so then is it ok to be dependant on them?
